Homework Tuesday 19th May (1º ESO)

Morning kids!

Today we are going to learn the past of the verb TO BE. Como sabes, el verbo To Be significa ser o estar  y es un verbo irregular que funciona de forma distinta a otros verbos. El pasado de este verbo es muy sencillo porque sólo tiene dos formas: WAS / WERE. This is the past simple of To be, COPY IT IN YOUR NOTEBOOK:

¿Entiendes el significado? Yo era/estaba, tú eras/estabas....  En la forma negativa observad que aparece en rojo la contracción de NOT y en las preguntas, como siempre, se cambia el orden.
