Tareas de la semana 1 - 5 junio (5º)

Good morning children!
First, let's revise our vocabulary! Let's go to page 60 and study the flashcards again. Vamos a la pág.60 para ver las tarjetas de vocabulario y estudiarlo de nuevo, prestando atención a la forma escrita y a la pronunciación.

Today let's learn some grammar: Be going to for future. Pay attention!
Utilizamos "BE GOING TO" para hablar sobre planes futuros. Se traduce como ir a... (¿Conoces el verbo To be, verdad? Pues entonces te va a resultar muy fácil) Mira el ejemplo:

He is going to eat pizza tonight
(Él va a comer pizza esta noche)
Es muy sencillo: Verb To Be +  GOING TO + acción en infinitivo. Let's watch these videos to understand better. El primero te lo he grabado yo, pulsa sobre la imagen de los dos chicos →

Now, let's do some homework!
  • Page 61: 1. Read and listen. What time is Jack goingo to arrive home on Sunday? Primero deberás leer el texto y escuchar con atención. Responde a la pregunta y por último vas a copiar las oraciones que aparezcan en el texto con BE GOING TO. Te digo la primera: I'm going to go to the beach.
  • 2. Read and listen. Say the sentences. ¡Esfuérzate en la pronunciación! Observa que para la forma negativa sólo tenemos que negar el verbo To Be.
  • 3. Vamos a hacer todas las oraciones que podamos mirando los dibujos de la tabla sobre Jack y Alfie. Cambiaremos el enunciado por: What are Jack and Alfie going to do? Complete:
  • Do an interactive worksheet: click HERE. Deberás hacerla online, pulsar el botón TERMINADO que aparece al final, a continuación "comprobar mis respuestas" y enviarme foto con la nota que os pone.

Homework Thursday 28th May (2º ESO)

Morning!
This is the homework today:

  • Activities on page 68:
  1. Answer the two questions.
  2. Listen and read the conversation twice (2 veces!). This vocabulary can help you: Don't touch (no toques), bin (papelera), awesome! (¡impresionante!), sure (por supuesto), bottle tops (chapas de botellas).
  3. Listen and read again. Answer the questions (use complete answers!)
  4. Este último lo vamos a cambiar puesto que no podemos leerlo en grupos, por un "listen and repeat". Es muy importante trabajar la pronunciación así que vas a escuchar parando el listening en cada oración para ir repitiendo procurando copiar el modelo correcto de pronunciación. Take and effort!
  • Digital Workbook: 18 and 19 (about materials and containers)
And today, a present for you, let's play Quizizz! Hoy el cuestionario va sobre oraciones con BE GOING TO  para expresar futuro:

Homework Thursday 14th May (2º ESO)

Good morning!
Today let's learn some grammar: Be Going To. Se trata de un futuro DE INTENCIÓN:
I'm going to learn English
(Yo voy a aprender Inglés)
Como ves, se traduce como "ir a..." y su forma es muy sencilla: Verb To be + GOING TO + Verb infinitive.
Let's see some examples:
👉She is going to pass the exam (ella va a aprobar el examen)
👉Lucia and Samuel are going to watch a film (Lucia y Samuel van a ver una película)
Es decir, si te sabes el verbo To Be, that's easy peasy!! (está "chupao")

Look at the table on the left:
→In the AFFIRMATIVE you can use the contractions (I'm, You're, He's...)

→In the NEGATIVE we say the negative form of To BE: I'm not, You aren't, He isn't...

→In the INTERROGATIVE we CHANGE THE ORDER of sentences: To be + Subject  + GOING TO + verb infinitive?
→With WH- questions, first we write the WH- word and then, the question.

What TIME EXPRESSIONS can we use with BE GOING TO?
→tomorrow (mañana)
→next Monday/year/week (el próximo lunes/año/ semana....)
→this afternoon/evening... (esta tarde/noche...)
→at 5 o'clock/ at 6.30.... (a las 5/ a las 6.30...)
→On Monday/Tuesday....(el lunes/martes...)
Let's watch this video:

And now, let's go with the homework:
  • Copy and complete this table in your notebook:
  • Do activities 1, 2 and 3 on page 66 (you can do them online).
If you don't understand, you can ask me questions!
Have a nice weekend!😊
