Homework Thursday 14th May (2º ESO)

Good morning!
Today let's learn some grammar: Be Going To. Se trata de un futuro DE INTENCIÓN:
I'm going to learn English
(Yo voy a aprender Inglés)
Como ves, se traduce como "ir a..." y su forma es muy sencilla: Verb To be + GOING TO + Verb infinitive.
Let's see some examples:
👉She is going to pass the exam (ella va a aprobar el examen)
👉Lucia and Samuel are going to watch a film (Lucia y Samuel van a ver una película)
Es decir, si te sabes el verbo To Be, that's easy peasy!! (está "chupao")

Look at the table on the left:
→In the AFFIRMATIVE you can use the contractions (I'm, You're, He's...)

→In the NEGATIVE we say the negative form of To BE: I'm not, You aren't, He isn't...

→In the INTERROGATIVE we CHANGE THE ORDER of sentences: To be + Subject  + GOING TO + verb infinitive?
→With WH- questions, first we write the WH- word and then, the question.

What TIME EXPRESSIONS can we use with BE GOING TO?
tomorrow (mañana)
next Monday/year/week (el próximo lunes/año/ semana....)
this afternoon/evening... (esta tarde/noche...)
at 5 o'clock/ at 6.30.... (a las 5/ a las 6.30...)
On Monday/Tuesday....(el lunes/martes...)
Let's watch this video:

And now, let's go with the homework:
  • Copy and complete this table in your notebook:
  • Do activities 1, 2 and 3 on page 66 (you can do them online).
If you don't understand, you can ask me questions!
Have a nice weekend!😊
