Grammar and communication (6º)

Hi everybody!
Today we are going to see the first  part of the grammar of Unit 5: THE PAST CONTINUOUS. It's very easy!
Usamos el Pasado Continuo para expresar lo que estábamos haciendo durante un periodo de tiempo en el pasado. Por ejemplo, ayer Gloria estaba haciendo sus deberes (Gloria was doing her homework yesterday). De este ejemplo puedes desprender cómo se forma el Past Continuous:

Finally you are going to do exercises 1, 2 and 3 on page 51:

• ex. 1: Lee y escucha el texto con atención y averigua qué estaba haciendo Daisy esta mañana (What was Daisy doing this morning?)
• ex. 2: Listen, say the sentences and play the game.
• ex 3: Observando la tabla, vas a escribir 4 preguntas similares a las del ejemplo y las respondes. Recuerda, si el sujeto es equivalente a I o HE/SHE/IT será What was... doing at (time)? Si se refiere a WE/YOU/THEY, será What were .... doing at (time)?
