Grammar and communication (5º)

Hi everybody!

Today we are going to see the first  part of the grammar of Unit 5: OBLIGATION (have to/don't have to). It's very easy! Let's go to page 51:

HAVE TO y DON'T HAVE TO sirven para expresan obligación:

-I have to take rubber boots, because it's raining (Yo tengo que llevar botas de agua porque está lloviendo)

-We don't have to wear a school uniform (nosotros  no tenemos que llevar puesto uniforme)

Hasta ahora, sencillo. Lo que pasa es que tenemos que observar que cuando el sujeto es 3ª persona del singular (he, she, it o algún equivalente como Mary, my brother, the cat...) el verbo cambia por HAS TO / DOESN'T HAVE TO:

-My sister has to take rubber boots (mi hermana tiene que llevar botas de agua)
-Thomas doesn't have to wear a school uniform (Thomas no tiene que llevar uniforme)

Now you are going to do exercises 1, 2 and 3 on page 51:

• ex. 1: Lee y escucha el texto con atención y averigua dónde tiene que ir Jack con su madre (Where does Jack have to go with his mum?)
• ex. 2: Listen, say the sentences and play the game (el juego está en el libro digital).
• ex 3: Observando la tabla, vas a escribir  3 oraciones afirmativas y 3 negativas sobre Hellen y lo mismo con Emma (utilizando has to/doesn't have to, como en el ejemplo que tienes en el libro).

PUEDES REALIZAR LAS TAREAS EN EL LIBRO DIGITAL EXCEPTO ESTA ÚLTIMA, QUE DEBERÁS HACER EN LA LIBRETA. SI ACCEDES AL LIBRO DIGITAL, RECUERDA TRABAJAR CON LA VERSIÓN ONLINE (si te da problemas, mejor probar con otro navegador).
